Howdy!

My name is Jen Burbridge and I guess that most of you already know that otherwise why the heck would be here on my blog? So I was born and bred in the Southern town of Portsmouth but have since upped sticks and moved to sunny Bournemouth… well I say sunny but I think the sun has gone into hiding since I’ve arrived!

This blog was set up for two main reasons:

1. Race for life - Those of you that have actually read my posts will already know this but for everyone else I’m attempting to get fit and take part in this year’s race for life. No mean feet for the girl who drives 3 mins to work everyday… this blog is a way for those who are kind enough to sponsor me to keep up-to-date on my pain ;o)

2. Design tinkering - My day job is design and what better way to experiment than to tinker with this here blog!

3. The blog off - Some would say that this should be reason one. But then I would look as sad as I am so I’ve pushed it down to three… Myself and young Samuel (link to your right) have entered into a wee blog off. It’s a battle of wits and will be fought to the bitter end, which is when (and only when) I win. You can help the cause by clicking on the lovely ads strategically placed left, right and (most probably) centre.

As I learn to rip extra code off Sam’s site I’m sure that this site will contain pictures, videos and more. Until then apply alcohol and you may find it slightly bearable.
