On the skive already!

Yes it’s week one, and yes I’m being lame already!
It’s been a week since I did any form of training, but in my defence I’ve been a wee bit poorly etc etc blah blah blah.
Still I’d well and truly run out of excuses by today, so trundled down to the gym for the third part of my programme… the full 5k
Dun dun dun…. Well it was a breeze, I don’t know what I was worried about. Started off at a fair pace, and built up to a nice sprint at the end. My time was 30mins – bingo!
Haha as if!
First up I managed to pick the only machine in the place with a dodgy clock (good one brains). Second up I still get scared running on those damn machines!!! However I managed a fast pace walk, with a rather chicken like jog at the end… 46mins is the time to beat. It is as I keep reminding myself only attempt one but still at least I didn’t do a Goody :p

Personal Trainer - take two

Well its safe to say that I hurt… I hurt a lot!
Who decided that exercise was good for you? Well they lied… big time!
It’s one thing for you to have a slight ache the day after, but when that stretches to two days and interferes in my tea drinking it becomes wrongness of the highest level.
Hmm anyway so I survived the day, drinking tea like one of those nodding dogs you can buy for your car but instead of being able to veg on the sofa and recover it was time for part two of the PT pain.
What joy!
Luckily todays session was all about the legs, unluckily it once again involves balancing with weights on a fitball… enough already LOL.
Ahh to be a fly on the wall in my gym…
